Patrol Division
The Patrol Division 2 consists of eight platoons comprised of 33 sworn officers, which includes two lieutenants, six sergeants & K-9 officers. The uniformed officers are the highly visible components of the department and are the officers who typically respond to calls for service in Fort Pierce.
Canine Unit
The Fort Pierce Police Department canine teams are trained for a particular objective with extensive training prior to any operation and continuous weekly training to maintain the highest level of efficiency.
