Live Oak Police Department Divisions:
Administrative Division:
The Chief of Police, Police Captain, and the Administrative Assistant are responsible for the day to day operations of the Police Department. This includes planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the agency.
Patrol Division:
This division, in the marked patrol cars, is usually the first line of defense for the safety of the citizens and the community. This Division currently has four sergeants and eight Patrol Officers.
Detective Division:
This Division is responsible for follow up investigations, crime scene preservation and evidence collecting, traffic homicide investigations, and Internal Affairs.
The Records Division:
The records division is responsible for the dissemination of all reports completed by the agency and is responsible for the State Uniform Crime Reports and assists with billing and accounts payable at the Police Department.
