This Division’s responsibilities include records management; fiscal management; supplies and materials; facilities and communications infrastructure.

Investigations Division:
The Investigations Division is made up of the Special Investigation Section and the Criminal Investigations Section. The Investigations Division’s objective is to reduce violent crime and the rate of property crime within the City of Miami Gardens.

Operations Division:
The Operations Division is the “uniformed, first-responder” division. The Division includes the Traffic Unit, which consists of the Motors, School Crossing Guards and Red Light sections, Canine Unit, along with the Intergovernmental Section. The largest section of the Operations Division is the Patrol Unit. Their primary role is to respond to calls, serve the citizens, and provide uniformed visible patrol to all of Miami Gardens.
