Administrative Bureau:
The Administrative Bureau consists of: Investigate complaints of officer misconduct, Reviews all Response to Resistance reports completed by officers and Performs unannounced Staff Inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.

Professional Standards Division:
The Professional Standards Division includes Accreditation Programs, Records Section, Telecommunications, and Training.

Accreditation Administrator is responsible for monitoring the latest requirements and updating documentation to ensure that the North Port Police Department strictly adheres to Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation standards.

The Records Section is responsible for collecting, disseminating, maintaining, filing, and controlling departmental records through the use of automated electronic and hard file record-keeping systems.
