Divisions:

Uniform Patrol Division:
The Uniform Patrol Division’s officers are responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, crime prevention and control, misdemeanor case follow-up, traffic enforcement, crime scene management, juvenile crime follow-up, neighborhood enhancement assignments, as well as neighborhood watch programs.

Records Division:
Records Division is responsible for maintaining all reports of crimes, arrest reports, and accident reports. Records employees also make these reports available to the public.

Communications Section:
In this section, the operators perform a full range of radio, computer, and telephone operational duties during their shift.

Criminal Investigation Division:
The Criminal Investigations Division investigates homicides, robberies, sexual batteries, aggravated assaults/battery, burglaries, grand thefts, auto thefts, fraud, and narcotics cases, and many more.

Traffic Enforcement:
This Unit is responsible for the investigation of all serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents that occur within the city limits.

Personnel & Training:
The training unit is responsible for providing up to date information on the primary topics in law enforcement.

Evidence:
The mission of the Property & Evidence Section is to receive, log, maintain, distribute, and have readily available all property and evidence impounded.
