Brevard Juvenile Detention Center is located in Cocoa, FL, and serves Brevard County. This is a hardware secure facility with 40 beds, and it is located in the Central Region, in a suburb of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville metropolitan area.

Luis R. Rodriguez is the Superintendent, and Tyler Mocere is the Assistant Superintendent. The detention center serves children in grades 6-12. It employs two full-time teachers and functions as an alternative school. As of the 2018-2019 school year, it had 28 students. Juveniles in this facility are provided with education, healthcare, mental healthcare, and drug abuse programs.

Visitation

Visitation is available on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Approved visitors are parents, grandparents, and legal guardians. Legal counsel, clergy, and law enforcement are also permitted to visit. Others may visit only with the approval of the superintendent or by court order. All visitors must sign in with photo ID. All visitors may be electronically searched and may not bring in personal items.
